Our New Playground!
The work on our new park began with the Campbell Street group and the Goodlettsville groups preparing the ground, clearing weeds and trash, and removing large dirt piles. Then the Southside / GACS groups did the hard work of digging the holes for all of the poles:
Finally, the Pleasant Ridge / Western Hills / West Chicago groups came in this week to assemble the playground:
After lots of hard work from people all over the country, we were able to celebrate the opening of our new playground last night! All the kids got to go down the big red slide as the paparazzi (aka the Americans) took pictures from below.
The new park is going to be called “God Provides – In Honor of Popi Stan y Momi Carolina”.

How exciting to see these pictures of the new playground!! As our group from Campbell St. worked on clearing the land in June, we kept visualizing the children playing there. It helped keep our focus as we worked! I can’t WAIT to see it and the children enjoying it….in person!

NC and Jackson can not wait to play with all their friends there on this playground…just AWESOME!
