Flooding at the City of Children
There were four major storm systems that came through southern California and northern Baja this week. We heard reports that there hasn’t been this type of rain in Ensenada for at least 30 years. The people in Colonet and Camalu said that they hadn’t seen that type of rain in 16 years. Either way, it was pretty rough! Here at the home, we only sustained minor water damage, primarily because several of our buildings still have the old asbestos roofing that has cracked allowing water to leak in. As you can see from the pictures below, we had lots of water in our storm ditch as well as lots of limbs and debris blown around.

The flood waters running into the ocean near the home was pretty impressive as well!
