Birthday Photos and Zumba
This week has been rather slow at the home – which is definitely a change of pace for us! It has allowed us to get caught up on all of the things we had to forsake during the Christmas / New Years festivities. We are blessed to have our good friends Steve and Terry Elrod and their daughter Janey here visiting the home. They are going to be here for a couple of weeks helping us out around the home as well as going to language school.
Today we celebrated January birthdays which is always lots of fun. We gave the kids who are celebrating this month birthday hats, candles in their cake, and sang to them. It was fun. Here are a couple of pictures:
Also, this afternoon, Natasha exercised with the teen girls by doing Zumba with them. Zumba is an aerobic fitness program that combines Latin music with various Latin dances which the girls absolutely loved. I would have loved to get a picture but I was not allowed in the room. We’ll keep you updated if the fitness craze sweeps across the dorm.

Good thing to start Natasha. I hope Zumba is something the teen girls will continue to do, especially since they enjoyed it so much. I love you two very much!
