The Journey Begins

By admin

Welcome to our website!  We are on our way to Mexico!  After a late departure (2pm on Wednesday the 23rd) we drove to Bentonville, Arkansas (the home of Wal-Mart!) and stayed with fellow City of Children board member Gary Halford and his wife Martha.  They were so encouraging!  Then we were on the road again to Texas by way of Oklahoma.  We arrived last night in Arlington, Texas to stay with our good friends Matt and Erin Steidl.  Erin was Natasha’s roommate at Lipscomb.  We are going to be here for 3 days and then we’re off to Amarillo, Texas.  So far we’ve driven over 900 miles and filled the car with gas 6 times!  Chester and Webster have been great.  We’ll be sure to keep you updated as the journey continues.

Dear Jeff & Tash, I Love that this journey begins for you soon. I know you will be a blessing to live’s of those children at The City of Children just as you have been to my children. I am so proud to call you my friends and I will pray for you often. I think Tammy and I have decided to do our best to come for a visit next year with Wes & Vince.
We will be in touch as often as we can.
Love you, God bless!

The cabin looks so nice. I am glad to know that you were indoors and the boys were able to stay with you indoors with air conditioning. You are making great progress and you are that much closer to being in San
