On Friday morning, we heard that the group of mechanics that come every year from Virginia to work on the Baja Missions vans were trapped in San Vicente. Part of the bridge that linked San Vicente to the rest of the world had washed away and they were without money, medicine, food, etc. So we [...]

There were four major storm systems that came through southern California and northern Baja this week. We heard reports that there hasn’t been this type of rain in Ensenada for at least 30 years. The people in Colonet and Camalu said that they hadn’t seen that type of rain in 16 years. [...]

Since we don’t get any snow, our kids have to improvise. This week I caught a couple of kids sledding out by the mediano boys dorm. Hey, its better than nothing and they were having a great time! You’ve got to love winter in Baja.
